Farhana, the car driver that only knows how to drive forward! Believe us, park assist has been a God send to her. Her approach of only looking forward in any circumstances has taken ANEX to the next level in a short span of time.

The foundation of her career in financial services was laid at Morrison International where she was trained as an auditor and at the same time she studied towards her CIMA qualification. To further enhance her skills and to build up as a finance professional, she joined Grant Thornton as an Accountant later on.

With the global business sector evolving, Aamil Global Financial Services Ltd was her next destination where she joined as an Assistant Operations Manager and this is where she mastered the nitty-gritty of the profession.

Always looking for new challenges, she made the decision to join ANEX in 2007. With her relentless focus on exceeding customer satisfaction, professionalism and leadership skills, she gradually moved from senior management positions to Group CEO in a period of 5 years.

A creative mind, an eye for detail (visit our office to vet!), an easy going personality combined with a never give up attitude are qualities that are cherished by her clients.

To sum up, Farhana has substantial work experience in Fund management, Investment structures, Company formation and administration coupled with in depth knowledge of Mauritius tax, Company law, corporate governance and compliance. She has led several overseas marketing trips to promote Mauritius as an International Financial Centre.

She also holds several directorships across diverse companies.

Her hobbies are reading, fitness and cooking (heard she’s an awesome cook, yet to taste)

Sandeep’s the calm one!

He is an experienced professional with over 15 years of financial services exposure and currently heads our Operations and Tax Advisory Services.

Always proactive and thinking unlike others, he leads new client projects aiming at solutions and the clientele effect.

Sandeep has developed expertise in advising corporate and tax structuring, mitigating various risks, optimising fund performance and financial management.

He also serves as director on several companies and Funds.

Before joining ANEX, Sandeep spent 9 years in Auditing and Transaction advisory services where he also directed extensive research regarding investment prospects.

Sandeep is a fellow of the Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and a Member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants.

Sandeep enjoys trying new sports (darts, anyone?) and discovering new places and cultures, but does he really look like someone passionate of Formula 1.

Maestro – a well-presented, industrious and highly personable individual who has extensive in-depth experience for over four decades in the banking and finance industry.

Mr Belath had a 30 years of career escalating responsibilities with HSBC Mauritius, 11 years of which was at senior management level, whereby he laid his footprint in the industry. Sharp and focused, he has been trained by the best and in turn he was the inspiration for the bank’s staffs.

After leaving HSBC, retirement was not in his dictionary and he occupied key positions and continued contribution to the sector:

Arshad's the guy everyone wants to share something with.

After having retired as a defender in the regional football team, Arshaad has now found love for defending rights of people.

As a member of the Chambers Sir Hamid Moolan QC, he has appeared before various courts in Mauritius in criminal, civil, family, labour and commercial law matters and has also chaired disciplinary committees in relation to industrial law. He also has litigation experience before specialised bodies such as the Employment Relations Tribunal, the Assessment Review Committee, the Fair Rent Tribunal and the Environment and Land Use Appeal Tribunal. 

He has an insatiable appetite for knowledge of the financial sector and has been regularly advising multinationals, banks and financial institutions in a variety of corporate matters.

Every dreamer needs someone who makes sure they are following the laws of the land… Arshaad makes sure that companies for which he acts as legal adviser are legally compliant.

Arshaad lectures on a part-time basis at certain universities and business school.

He also qualified as an Accountant when he was at PricewaterhouseCoopers Mauritius as Senior Associate.
